Living the adventure!

So here we are: Balboa Yacht Club, Panama City.

Tomorrow is our estimated departure date! A couple of days in an island about 50 miles away, cleaning the boat, stocking some green bananas, relaxing and waiting for the good weather window, and here we go!

During the past month, the rythm has been intense. Lots of work on the boat, a long haul-out, trying to dance along with many unexpected incidents, going shopping in urbanly crazy Panama City, and well, getting through this first part of our trip! Like a fellow once told us: "An adventure is not a vacation, guys!"

Yes, our adventure has already started!
And this first moment of it got us thinking, and really putting into practice, that this is what it is all about. We're not here, in life, in the world, or at the Balboa Yatch Club, to only receive and accept the pleasant parts of it. Life needs balance, and we are greateful for the lessons and opportunities that it has given us - to go even further, to evolve, to model ourselves into our better shapes everyday....  things happen for sure for a reason - that we create ourselves or that is meant to be, it doesn't matter; the fact is: we'll always find one. That is exactly where it gets fun! We can turn it into a good one if we want to - even if sometimes it takes a lot of effort to find this way.

So here we are: together.

Working, playing, laughing, crying, cooking, singing, going through the Panama Canal... all that is only possible because we are together. And this is what it is all about. Living with each other, communicating with each other, growing with each other, creating worlds with each other. None of what we've been living wouldn't be as fun, joyful and intense if it wasn't for the people we share it all with... Inspiring, helping, just being there for a hug, a talk, a random moment that reveals more answers than there were questions.

Our little big trip, in this first moment, is reinforcing in our hearts the magic of living life as an adventure.... an adventure that starts only if we want to, and that is lived well if we are up to it!

This is the choice we made, and this is the choice we're going for.

We send our gratitude to the people - those who have been part of our lifes, in every possible way, from our first elementary school teacher to the sales lady in the store today... our families and friends, and especially all those who come directly present during this trip.

You are part of us, and we're all one.

So here we are: right whee we are supposed to be.
